Dear All,

I recently tried to use Dako's EnVision with tyramide amplification. I
have found them to be individually very useful. However it does not
seem possible to use them together.

Dako say they have also not been able to get good results and they
blame the overall sensitivity as too high.

Another point while I am on the net:
I have noticed when using immuno pens like Dako's and Vector's that
after heat mediated epitope retrieval the solvent vapour from the pens
damages certain epitopes. I used to think the problem was that maybe
one of my solutions had not covered all of the section, however I now
realise the solvent vapour is the culprit. Consequently I now make
sure that each section is completely covered with buffer before I
apply the pen.
