David,

I have not  stained fat laden macrophages but having worked with aspirates
before, I would suggest a cytospin prep followed by ORO.

Dear Histonetters

Can you help? In my laboratory we are currently reviewing our  procedure
for the fixing of BAL preparations for fat laden macrophages. Does  anybody
else stain for fat laden macrophages? What preparation techniques and
fixatives are you using?
