Collagen type II

Could somebody please share their protocol for IHC collagen type II staining?  The antibodies are from the U of Iowa Hybridoma Bank and will be used on monkey bones.  The initial staining run produced poor results.  Is there a better antigen retrieval method then using hyaluronidase?
