Thanks everyone for your opinions on reusing retrieval solutions. The
majority seemed to be of the opinion that reusing the solution, at least for
a short time, was OK. I tried reusing the solution for one week with no
noticeable loss of staining intensity nor any increase in background. So I
will start to make it up on a weekly basis rather than daily and see how
