Carolyn:
Although various "citrate based" AR formulations work fairly well. We have
found that Novocastra's 6F11 works much better when using a 0.1 M Tris-HCl
pH 9. See Brancroft and Stevens for proper ratios of Tris Base and
Tris-HCl.
Hope this helps,

Subject: ER
We are having problems with very weak staining with ER. We use antigen
retrieval
in citrate buffer in the microwave. The antibody was from Nova-Castra and
then we
tried one from Biogenex with the same results. Can anyone give any
suggestions
??.
