Absolutely! The unit of service is the specimen -- not the number of blocks
and not the surgical procedure.
This was changed in 1992. CPT Service Definition - "...When material
received for pathologic examination comprises multiple specimens, EACH
specimen is a single unit of service and is to be reported using a single CPT
code."
