RE: CD3 (poly)

From:"Houston, Ronnie"

Only got a sample of Cell Marque's predilute CD3. In our hands, it wasn't as
good as Dako's predilute polyclonal (cat N1580)

I would concur with Robert on this antibody. It is a good one.

Cell Marque has a polyclonal equivalent to the DAKO product. When we found
out about the DAKO backorder, we bought the Cell Marque antibody and now use
it at 1:1000, steam in Citrate buffer for 15 min., with Powervision+
detection. It looks great!

The literature will suggest that the monoclonal CD3(clone PS1) is a very
good antibody, perhaps a wee bit more specific than the polyclonal
antibody... it has been my experience however that it must be used at a much
higher dilution (around 1:40-1:50), making the polyclonal far more
economical.
