I don't want to get in to the use of zinc formalin, but my personnal opinion is that it is dangerous to use blanket antigen retrieval for every antibody.
It simply is not necessary for all antibodies, and indeed enhances non-specific staining.

I was wondering if it was necessary to use zinc formalin to enhance IHC
staining and prevent cross-linking if you were doing antigen retrieval
for every antibody. Any comments???
