my computer date, a Y2K thing

Dear Histonetters,
You will notice the date on messages originating from this computer read 1980.
Ignore it! My computer is a handmedown 486, and it lost 20 years in one
night,
too bad I can't do the same! Messages are current and up to date, and I
am not worried about the date, neither should you be!
