Poly-l -lysine is a chemically treated slide and can give background or a
dirty appearance on Immunos or specials, Plus or pos charge slides are
electrically treated and are affected by ions in non de-ionized water and
give high background in silver stains, both have their place in Histo and
need to be tried for optimal performance.
