To all Histonetters: We are trying to figure out what is an acceptable
billing amount for special stains and immunohistochemistry stains. In our
hospital we have been doing a lot of referred in work for out of district
centers that have not been charged for our services.  We are in the process
of setting up a billing system for these places. In Saskatchewan we do not
bill directly for our services like in the US. If anyone could please let me
know what they charge per slide, it would help me out a lot.  Thanks in
