What "should" be a normal workload for medical transcriptionists?
we currently generate aprox. 100 reports daily, 40% surgicals and 60%
others, and  have 2 full time and 1 part time transcriptionists (2.8
FTE).
We do a gross AND  microscopic on all cases, and they are responsable
for all filing, phone inquiries, etc. (general secretarial duties)
We also operate 6 days a week (m-s) and strive for zero overtime.

I'm getting lot's of complaints lately about being over worked.
Legitimate or not??
