We use Shandon's Histomount with ProPar and find it works well, dries hard,
and dries quicker than something like Permount. If it thickenss in the
balsam bottle I don't recomend thinning it with ProPar as you might use
xylene for Permount. We find it's just better to start with fresh
Histomount.
