Hi. I was wondering if anyone worked on blood vessel perfusion. Basically, we're studying fluid mechanics with in vessels. So we perfuse the vessel with DMEM at various pressues (for 2-3 days) then we freeze, section and stain to investigate some biological responses in the vessel. So I was wondering if anyone has added heparin to their media, whether it's true that heparin prolongs the life of the vessel, and at what concentration the heparin is used. Thank you for your time.
