A while back, following the advice of those in Histoland, I began doing
the
following:
Use ordinary glass slides that you've coated with poly-L-lysine. You can
buy a poly-L-lysine solution ready to dilute from Sigma.
Make sure your tissue sees no alcohols during processing.
Let the sections air dry for about an hour at room temperature.
Go to town.
