Thank you very much for your comments,

We are using:
DBA.44 from Dako catalog # M880. No pretreatment. Primary antibody
dilution of 1:15 for 2 hours at RT, detection on the Ventana using the
basic DAB kit. TRAP from Zymed catalog # 18-0199. HIER in citrate buffer
pH 6.0. Primary antibody dilution of 1:100 for 1 hour at RT, detection
on the Ventana using the basic DAB kit.

DBA 44 dose not work on NexES. If they do Antigen Retrieval and
incubate off line 30 min 1:25 -1:50 it works ok.

DAKO does carry a Hairy Cell Leukemia marker (M0880). We have not
tested it on the NeXES, but it should work in theory. Please contact
DAKO

We use the DBA.44 clone from Dako with a citrate buffer pretreatment
at a dilution of 1:50. I do not know about using on the Nexes, as I have
no experience with that instrument.

The only antibody of which I am aware for Hairy Cell Leukemia is is
DBA-44 but I do not recommend it because it is difficult to work with.

Zymed offers a Ms anti-TRAcP antibody that is useful for identifying
hairy cells (18-0199, clone: ZY-9C5). We recommend epitope retrieval
with citrate buffer, pH 6. We have not tested it at elevated
temperatures. Our distributor in Canada is Intermedico.

Zymed carries a Trap Antiboody for hairy cell leukemia that works very
nicely, microwave HIER and 32 min incubation.

I have trid to get this antibody to work on our NexES but with no real
luck. Zymed makes an anti -TRAcP for hairy cell to be used on
paraffin - never succeded in getting it to work.
