Hey histonetters,

I know this has been discussed before but could some one please let me know
what they have found to be the best way to store frozen section slides in a
-80 freezer for long term storage to avoid freeze artifact. I seem to
remember some one dipped slides into 10% sucrose solution and froze them
but didn't know if that was the latest and greatest invention.

Also what is the best way to thaw them out for staining?

As always thanks to everyone for their imput in advance,
Lynn Gardner
