Dr. Lyon,
I use VEGF from Santa Cruz and it does react with rats. I use zinc/formalin
fixation with formic acid decal for rat bones. Never tried the
formail/picric acid though. Contact me at work for more details.

Would like to know what antibodies most of you are using for vascular
endothelial growth factor. I will be using human tissues that have been
formalin/picric acid fixed and frozen sections. Ideally it would cross
react with rat but I am mainly interested in human at the moment.
