Hi Marj,

We note every special and IHC stain by name in our reports.  Insurance
companies review billing and often request reports to verify that specific
special stains were done.  The required part reflects this and the
medical-legal issues in case of litigation.\

Thanks Bob for the info and the link. When you say "requires", do you think
it is also required for special stains other than immunos? If so does anyone
know who requires?
