Lendrum, Fraser, McFarlane, Slidders and others published several trichrome 
and yellowsolve methods, mostly for fibrin.  Several of them are on 
StainsFile.

Go to:  http://stainsfile.info  then select "Staining techniques", then 
select the letter "L" and scroll down to Lendrum.  The stain you want may be 
the picro-mallory.
