Roxanne,
we put a note in the report stating that the case was sent for xyz testing 
and an addendum will follow. Then, when the results are received, the 
addendum is added with "test xyz was performed at the such and such lab with 
the following results":
Just remember, any lab that you do business with, you need to maintain a 
list of their CLIA and CAP numbers for tracking purposes. This is a CAP 
requirement.
