MMA wrinkles
You did not mention if you are sectioning the
block dry. If so, this may cause some of the wrinkling. Maybe you
could try painting the face of the block with 50% ethanol (ETOH). Don't
paint the portion of the leading edge so that the section can be picked up with
fine forceps. You don't want the block to be dripping wth 50% ETOH, you
are just adding enough moisture to aid in the sectioning of the
block.
