Hi Kim,
Simply oxidize the sections in 5% chromic acid for an hour at room
temperature,
wash in running water for 3-5 minutes,
treat with 1% sodium bisulfite for a minute (this removes any residual
chromic acid),
wash in running water for 5 minutes,
rinse in distilled water
proceed staining.....
