We are currently in the decision making process about ISO certification.
Procedures will have to be completely revamped. (Although I understand that
NCCLS is in the process of changing the information procedure format as
well). The documentation provides the information that you have a Quality
System in place and requires a detailed information mapping process. (More
than the standard staining procedures that we are accustomed to). ISO
certification will be more difficult to obtain and costly.
