RE: melanoma antibodies

From:"Connolly, Brett M"

Re my previous post, S-100, HMB-45 and Mitf are out.

A brief search turned up LY1 and Melanoma Associated Glycoprotein (Zymed
#18-0276) as well as DAKO's p21WAF1/Cip1 (anyone know about this one).
Also, MAGE-1, MAGE-2, MAGE-3. Can anyone offer any insight on these; i.e.
do they label any or all melanoma cells....and, importantly, not label
normal melanocytes.

Thanks,
Brett

All,
Does anyone have suggestions for antibodies that label melanoma cells, but
not untransformed melanocytes??

Thanks,
 Brett
