Can you let us know if you found lead in the stuff?  I'm curious now.
I lived in Memphis for awhile - 'Everclear' was a common commodity with the
local folk.  I'm sure it's not produced for the flavor -
tastes worse than xylene.  (I just tasted it, honest!)
