POSITION TITLE: 
TECHNICIAN, MICROSCOPE SLIDES                                         

LOCATION: CITY, STATE 
ROCHESTER, NY

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to Supervisor, Microscope Slide Dept.
Responsible for all phases of microscope slide preparation, including tissue
dissection, fixation, specimen embedding into paraffin, sectioning using a
microtome, affixing tissue onto slides, staining slides with a variety of
techniques, covering specimen material and quality control of finished
material.
Responsible for interfacing with customers.
Responsible for input into Research and Development for new product lines.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Biology preferred but not required or equivalent experience
Emphasis in the area of Histology or Embryology preferred.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
