Re: gram staining

Jacquie,

Try ordering Gram Stain Kit from Sigma cat. nu. HT 90. I have used the kit
in the lab many times. It works very well.

Subject: gram staining

Does anyone have a reliable commercial gram stain that they like? I used
one when I worked overseas a few years ago and it was from a German
company.
(I think I remember the label on the bottle: Elektron Mikroskopie)? It
used
safranin.
We are using the Brown and Brenn here and having some problems with
consistency among many techs.

Thanks in advance!
