Our Lab is currently going to buy the Ventana Nexus IHC stainer from the
hospital across the street from us.
We have now been told that due to FDA regulations the machine has to be
sent back to the company for refurbishing before it can be sold to us.
At our expense, naturally.  Can someone please tell us why?    The
machine is about 6-7 years old and the asking price is $5000.00.  Is
this about right or is it too much?  
The machine is in good working order and has been very well maintained.
