Re: Caltag rat anti-mouse antibody F4/80

From:Geoff McAuliffe

I have used anti-F4/80 on mouse CNS fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde
perfusion, snap frozen and cut at 20 microns on a sliding microtome. I
ran the primary antibody at 1:1000 or 1:2000 all night at room temp. on
a shaker table (very gentle agitation) then used a Vector ABC Elite kit
and DAB intensified with either nickel + cobalt or Vector's "Intense"
reagent. Beautiful results.
Clint Lincoln on this list has done F4/80 on FFPE sections after
enzyme treatment.
