	I don't want to defend all pathologists and the fact that I am
married to one should have no bearing however; there are some good points.
From my experience the following applies:
	Distilled water can indeed be used for target retrieval for SOME
antibodies with equal or enhanced results. Each antibody has to be evaluated
independently.
	Antibodies especially concentrated ones held at 4C with azide will
maintain their activity well beyond there expiration date. Controls must
always be used in ALL cases.
	Cell marque makes good antibodies. I tend to rely on the clone and
have found that some companies have cleaner antibodies than others.
	It comes down to what you are trying to accomplish and what your
priorities are. Clinical vs research have different liability issues which I
will not address.
