Donna,
We have made arrangements with our hazardous waste site.  They would burn
the tissue anyway, the only thing is that formalin must be burned at a
higher temperature.  We mark the containers and they burn them at the higher
temp. so that the formalin does not have to be seperated.

Should formalin solution be disposed of befor releasing tissue to a company
for waste disposal? Does this vary based on the State in which disposal
takes
place? Or would the responsiblity lie with the waste disposal company?
