Joyce,
I performed a CAP inspection last week. No where in the checklist did the
question of reagents show up. I looked through the General and Antaomic
checklists. This lab had reagents that exipred four years ago, no date
received on many reagents, and no expiration dates. My team leader said the
best I could do was a recommendation because these issues where not on the
checklist. Also, there was not a question about H & E QC. I don't know if
the CAP inadvertently omitted these or what.
