Pathology Equipment Xchange is a novel company that focuses on meeting our customers’ needs and exceeding their expectations. We provide quality refurbished histology equipment with the same warranty as new. Our engineers offer the highest level of professional service to each and every instrument that we sell. We stand behind our equipment. Pathology Equipment Xchange or PathX has a partnership with our customers to inform, supply and educate so that we may work together effectively and efficiently to provide the best from your laboratories and ours.
PathX carries a variety of quality equipment from highly regarded manufacturers; Sakura-Finetek, Leica, Reichert-Jung, ThermoElectron (formerly Shandon-Lipshaw), etc. Remember, the best new equipment, makes the best used equipment!
We offer local service to our customers through a network of dedicated, experienced and highly qualified biomedical engineers across the United States. These talented partners are an integral part of the PathX team.
Pathology Equipment Xchange will purchase your used or surplus equipment, usually for more than its trade-in value, giving your lab the opportunity to use the funds for other projects or supplies. We also offer temporary placements of instrument to get your lab through a crunch. We will deliver, setup and instruct you on its use and crate it up at the end of the contract term. Please call us for details on this unique service.
Matt Mincer and Lori Cummings put their areas of expertise together to form Pathology Equipment Xchange mid-summer 2003. Matt’s second “brain child” to his 13 years of experience as a biomedical engineer, and 5 years as proprietor of Tech One Biomedical, PathX is destined to provide a higher level of quality equipment to the industry. Lori is a veteran histotechnologist with experience on the bench with most every kind of equipment in the lab. She has worked in small community hospitals as well as large university settings. Lori has also established a great rapport with her customer base while working in sales and technical resources with DakoCytomation Corporation.
Both Matt and Lori have identified the needs of customers to provide high quality at low cost, reliability and low maintenance. Pathology Equipment Xchange can meet and exceed these expectations.
Give PathX the opportunity to provide you with your next equipment purchase for primary use or simply as a backup piece of equipment. Or call us to purchase the surplus microtomes, embedding centers, cryostats, tissue processors, stainers, etc. collecting dust in your morgue or store room. Turn dust into cash and a little cash into reliable equipment.
