Rob W suggested a way to section whole mouse using a tape to support the
section while sectioning.

We would like to add that with the Instrumedics Tape -Transfer system you
not only capture the section on a tape, but you can transfer it to a glass
slide. Once on the slide you can then proceed with the same protocols as you
would use for your usual sections! If you are sectioning a small feeder
mouse we have a tape specifically for transfer to 2X3inch slides.

We also have just introduced the Macro Tape -Transfer system (MTTS) for
large animals and whole brain that permits you to cut the section onto a
tape and then transfer the section to 5X7 inch microscope slide. This
requires a very large cryostat such as the Leica CryoMacrotome.
