You need to increase your rinsing times in running tap water, in order
to obtain the correct pH for the eosin. Try 1 min after hematoxylin,
1 min after acid step, and 1 min after the bluing, then go to
a lower alcohol % before your eosin, 70% or match the alcohol
concentration of your eosin solvent, if it is 50%, use 50% alcohol
before going into the eosin.
