Hi Fran,
If it's for digesting glycogen, - we use alpha amylase type VI-B :
from porcine pancreas ( cat No. A-3176 ) obtained from Sigma.
We use it as a 1% solution in distilled water, at room temperature, for 20
mins.

Does anyone out there have a pancreatic amylase that works on paraffin
embedded tissue? We've tried and can't seem to get it to work. Your help
is
greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
