Hi Jeanie,
We use tap water for diluting our alcohols for processing, and
distilled water for other applications, 'special' stains etc. . Unles your
tap water is especially 'hard' it should be OK for tissue processing , I
would have thought.?

Hi All,
I was wondering what everyone uses to make alcohol dilution's. At our
lab for as long as I can remember, we made our dilution's with distilled
water. Now we are just using tap water. I personally do not believe this
is
the correct way, however, I have been wrong before. By dilution's, I am
referring to percents (100%, 90%,80%, etc.). Thank you for any assistance.
