Gayle asked about the dehydration steps when mounting with CureMount. The dehydration of the section is through alcohols just as is done for Permount mounting. Before dispensing CureMount the xylene should be drained away. We recommend placing the slide on a heater for 1-2seconds. The curing step takes about 60 sec. and voila the slide is DRY and the cover slip is fixed in place!! Fifteen slides can be cured under the Instrumedics Curing Lamp Bernice schiller@instrumedics.com
