Donna,
There is little I am fanatical about except the Welsh Rugby Team, 
a nice pair of legs and cleaning my microtome.  The latter is "how I 
earn my bread and butter" so I clean it rigorously and lightly oil it 
after every use.  Occasionally just would not be enough.
Oh, I'm pretty fanatical about pancakes and Maple syrup too
