We have used Novocastra's mAb NCL-AchE (acetylcholinesterase) successfully in frozen tissue sections using immunoperoxidase, but I can't imagine having to do it on a rush basis while the patient is still on the OR table.  We run a positive control tissue and a section of normal colon along with the test specimen; it's a lot of work!  One of my colleagues is Vijay V. Joshi, MD, PhD, a very famous pediatric pathologist; he has never asked us to do a RUSH AchE.
