I appreciate you have done a lot of work helping to alleviate this 
little girl's family's problems.  It was a sad case, gradually coming 
better with news of her progress.
I have not sent a donation towards the fund because I knew I would 
be seeing you in October and hoped donations would still be 
welcome.
I shall be happy to carry any donations UK histologists may wish 
to make.  It will make transfering cash outside the UK so much 
easier.  If anybody wants me to do that for them, you all know

I am sure Jim Elsam, John Bancroft, Ian Banks, Neil Hand, Pete 
Jackson (Phil Bryant? are you going) and any other Brits bound for 
Rhode Island will be happy to do the same.
