Hi Kathy,
We use the DMABR method in the microwave as follows:
DIMETHYL-AMINOBENZYLIDINE  RHODANINE
SOLUTIONS
	Stock Solution
			Prepare a saturated solution of DMAB rhodanine
(TOXIC; IRRITANT) in industrial methylated spirits (TOXIC; IRRITANT;
FLAMMABLE; TWA 200ppm). This will keep for approx. one week at 4*C.
	Working Solution
			Dilute 3ml of the stock solution in 50ml of
distilled water in a coplin jar. All glassware must be extremely clean..
CONTROL TISSUE
				Tissue containing copper
METHOD
				1.	Take sections to distilled water.
				2.	Either incubate in working solution:
							 at 60*C for 3
hours;
							 at room temperature
for 18-24 hours
					Or microwave in working solution on
power for 30 seconds; leave to stand for 30 seconds; then microwave on power
for a second time for 30 seconds.
				3.	Rinse slides in distilled water.
				4.	Counterstain in Mayers haematoxylin
for 5 seconds.
				5.	Rinse in water.
				6.	Dehydrate, clear and mount.
RESULTS
			Copper pigment	RED
			Nuclei		BLUE-BLACK

	     Hello!
	     We were just wondering... does anyone have a copper method that
does
	     not require 18 hours incubation time? Thanks!
