We have an accreditation inspection coming up in the year 2000. We are
updating all procedures. For recording temperatures, what is the standard
as to frequency. My director thought for example, that for a drying oven
once a week should be acceptable. I realize that to CYA, it is probably
better to do it daily, but I would like other opinions. What about water
baths for floating sections, are temps recorded regularly? If anyone has
written guidelines that they are willing to share, it would be
appreciated.
