Hello all,
I am in desperate need of information. I have some mouse brain tissue that
will not cut.
I have used the same processing schedule for every process and I have 1 batch
of animals that are not cutting. Low and behold it is the 1 batch that the
pathologist want.
Anyway, When I cut them and place them on a 37 degree water bath (as I have
always) the tissue wrinkles ups and pulls away from the paraffin.
I have tried to reembed them and it seemed to help a little but not enough
considering I have to serial section through the whole piece.
If there are any ideas of what may have caused the problem or any solutions
PLEASE contact me via e-mail or phone. This is very important work and I have
not had alot of experience with this type of problem.
Thank all of you
Cindy
