Thank you everybody who replied to my inquiry on staining the foot of a 10 - 11 day feotal rat. However the question that I posed may not have been clear enough. I do not wish to contrast bone and cartilage in whole mounts. I need to demonstrate the degenerating tissue between the developing bones in the foot at a cytological level.
