MIB-1 sometimes faintly stains the cytoplasm too, without any
background-staining. IMHO it's more often when EDTA as HIER-buffer is used.
But there are also other nuclear antibodies which sometimes are reactive
with the cytoplasm too like estrogen-receptor.
Has anybody an explanation why sometimes antibodies (especially CD20, clone
L26 from DAKO) stain nucleoli (of all cells, not only the expected
target-cells) very well?
