I'd say it doesn't matter which is 1st, except my inclination is always
to do the quench step 1st because the tissues seem a little less
delicate before retreival than after.

When doing immunoperoxidase staining on a tissue that requires antigen
retrieval, which do you do first - the antigen retrieval or the
endogenous peroxidase blocking?  Or does it matter?
