RE: [Histonet] reagent question

From:"Laurie Colbert"

We use reagent alcohol for processing and staining. It is a mixture of
isopropyl, ethanol, and methanol.

Subject: [Histonet] reagent question

We currently are using a pre made dehydrant (Isopropyl and Methyl
alcohol) on our processors and stainer but was wondering about switching
to
another reagent alcohol (Ethanol, Isopropanol and Methanol). Is there
a
preference as to what type of alcohol is best for processing routine
Histology specimens?

Thanks in advance
