[Histonet] CEUs: Histonet Digest, Vol 58, Issue 6

From:NYSHistotech

Hi Carolyn and AllI just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that there is NO CEU requirement as part of licensing in New york state. The law (article 165 and the most recent amendment that was passed 6/08) does not contain any specific language regarding a requirement for continuing education.  However, ASCP requires CEU's to maintain certification.  Please check their website for more info. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitateBest Luis-------Luis Chiriboga Ph.D.Assistant Professor of PathologyNYU School of MedicineVice President=0ANew York State Histotechnological Societywww.nyhisto.orghttp://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/NYSHS1972/ Message: 1Date: Thu, 4 Sep 2008 14:19:19 -0400From: "Demarinis, Carolyn" Subject: [Histonet] ceu'sTo: Message-ID:    Content-Type: text/plain;    charset="us-ascii"=0ANow that we are NYS licensed histotechnologists we are required toobtain several (12?)
